Ok I'm a 35 year old male . I had a internal spinal stimulator installed for my lower back and groin pain in January. July this year the leads got damaged one pulled out of the spine 2nd broke in half. August 24 I went in to surgery to replace the leads. When I woke up I had severe feet pain where they burn pick stab and feel like getting crushed. Any pressure even from a sheet or socks on my toes or pads cause intense pain. They kept in in the hospital till 2 days ago. The Dr is telling me he has no idea why I'm having this problem. But physical therapy said this is nerve damage and they won't touch me till fully clear. It's been 7 days since the surgery no improvement seems worse now both ankles and feet swollen. Being that I walked in perfectly fine with no feet problem then woke up and can't walk more then 10 feet on my heels. Is this something I should look at for malpractice or what should I do. I'm sorry I never did this before but I'm really scared and don't know what to do now
