I just got my license the 8th of January. while driving to school this morning (1/10/14) I went to stop at a red light and my car hit some black ice causing me to have trouble stopping. I veered the car to the right to try and miss the car in front of me (I was traveling at around 10 MPH in second gear) and clipped the bottom right of the car in front of mines bumper. My front bumper sustained a dent and my driver side headlight was smashed, and my front driver-side fender folded in on itself. (Pictures) I looked online for parts to purchase, and was wondering if I would need to purchase mounting brackets or if anything else would be needed to complete the install. If more pictures are required I can take more. Also would I be better off going to a professional Mechanic in my area to repair it, and do you have any advice for future driving in the snow. Thank you guys for your time.
