I own a 2011 Mustang GT and was wondering if there’s any automotive schools in the central Florida region that would work on it, provided I supply the parts and materials. My brother goes to a tech school in PA and they’ve done my alignment before for training, so I know at least some locations or schools will. It needs new rocker arms, has some frame and paint damage, electrical gremlins for the tail lights, 3rd gear synchro is going out. I think it would be a pretty great deal since Mustangs are one of the most common sports cars, and some schools have high-performance focused classes.
I’ve already messaged UTI and a local school, and plan on messaging WyoTech as well, but I’m looking for some realistic expectations here. Is this something that I can expect to have high hopes for happening, or is this just an empty prayer? I can afford the parts but just can’t afford the $5000 in labor or a new vehicle. I don’t need the vehicle to drive daily as I have a work vehicle, but I can only do so much driving with personal use before it becomes an issue.
