If you’re like me and had no clue how to get the wipers above the hood to raise them for dealing with invoking snow storms - you are in luck as it’s easy to do (thanks Mazda Canada for the helpful YouTube video) - if the car is on, simply shut it off and then bump the wiper stalk up twice (like you were triggering for clearing mist) within 30 seconds to move them to “locked mode” - which is straight up, then you can pull them away from the windshield as usual.

If you weren’t driving, just turn the ignition on, then off, and follow the same wiper stalk bump steps.

After you have dropped em down after clearing snow/ice, just bump to just again to return them back to normal resting location.
