I'd like to see a Character Reset option

Post Body

Long time reader of this subreddit, first time poster. Been playing for over 200 days now, I've bought one $5 deal but otherwise I've been F2P.

I'd like to see a character reset option.

We could pay power cores to reset our characters back to level 1, with all level 1 abilities and get back our gold, training modules, and ability materials. We would need to keep all the character shards of course, so if the star level stays the same maybe that's easier though I'd gladly take the gold back for those rank ups as well. ( Resetting the star ranks might mess up achievements, so that might need to not be reset).

I'm sure almost everyone invested in a character that they rarely end up using. For me it was hulk. Early on I would lose to him in arena alot so i rushed to unlock him and get him up to level 50. But he never did good work for me as I got to a higher level, and now I rarely use him. When I had plenty of gold I got him to level 60 to use on my B team for blitz, but now I literally never use him and he just sits there taunting me from the roster. I know he'll get a buff eventually, but I'd still rather have my resources back instead.

I was thinking either each character could get a reset that gets more expensive each time, to prevent people from repeatedly resetting them. Maybe 50 cores, then 100, etc. Or a character reset could be an item sold in the store only rarely. Even if it costs 100 cores or so I'd be happy just buying 2 for hulk and thor so i could work on characters I'm more interested in like the Doctor strange i gonna got yesterday.

I'm curious to see if anyone else would think this is a good idea, I've never seen anyone mention it here in the past couple months.

I'd also like to hear of other costs that might be fair/affordable.

P.S. I only suggest the increasing cost because if it always cost say 50 cores to do it, there might be some way to abuse it somehow so I was thinking of ways to prevent that from the beginning.
