For years I’ve been directly asking for small things like please when we see each other in the morning don’t just walk past me like I’m your roommate. Please embrace me. Please let’s cuddle in the bed. Pull me close. Hold me. We don’t sleep in the same room. Let’s do date night in. Grab some food, watch something we pick together. But it’s me, joining in his interests that he watches on YouTube.

Him and I were out on at a Starbucks and I ran out to the car to grab something while he was in line. As I came back in, I hugged him from behind and jokingly said “Hey sexy guy, you come here often?” A guy waiting for his coffee leaned over to me and said “ I wish my wife would do things like this. I can tell you really love him.”

He is a guy of adventure. He likes transportation. So he is into planes,trains, motorcycles, all the way to paragliding. All last year i set up that he touched each category of transportation attached to a vacation. He was in bliss. Me, I like crafting and woodworking. I can’t get him to even ask me the nerdy things about resin. Am I missing something?
