I guess my subconscious has Halloween and Mario Maker on the mind.

The strange thing is that it was actually a pretty cool idea.

Basically, the pumpkin would float in place and act like a cloud platform, unless something comes from below, where they'd wear it on their head.

When Mario wears the pumpkin, it would work like a Shellmet, giving him an extra hit. Same thing with enemies.

The interesting part is that I dreamt that there was an alternate version, the angry pumpkin. This would alter the enemy's behavior after the pumpkin is removed, for instance goombas would become angry and chase you, or koopas would immediately become a spinning shell after being jumped on.

I just thought it was a neat idea and was surprised that I was dreaming about it because I haven't been playing Mario Maker much recently.
