Hey all, have been enjoying this supportive community for a while now. Just a quick food for thought, what does achieving FI/RE truly mean to you in the end? What’s keeping you hustling so hard to achieve your endgame?
For me it’s the freedom to choose what I want / do not want to do with less financial constraints. It’s about having the autonomy in life. What about you?
Defining & understanding your goals is the best way to stay on track and motivated! I’m turning 30 soon and I’m still far far away, not even 25% on my FIRE figure. When the time gets rough, always remember why you were doing it in the 1st place.
I don't want to stay in corporate in my 50s
I wish to retire early so that I can live off the dividends and do many things that I want while I still have healthy body
Even if I want to continue working (because of boredom) I would do ad-hoc, short term jobs or work as a therapist
