Looking for advice for my Primeval Titan/Valakut modern deck

I am but a simple EDH playing timmy with one simple problem. My favorite card of all time is [[Primeval Titan]], which is banned in EDH. I also don't have any modern decks so I figured two birds with one stone and that I should make a modern deck with my favorite card. I want this deck to be somewhat competitive so I am open to hearing suggestions on improving it.
The idea is to get out and activate [[Valakut]] as soon as possible and burn your opponent to death.
