Proposed Amendments

A01 submitted by Trevism

Replace: (1) The Obligor will be fined £50 for every lapsed child support payment during the original six months for a total of £300

(a) Fines are to be paid to the Department of Justice

With: (1) The Obligor will be fined an equivalent sum of owed alimony per child for every lapsed child support payment during the original six months

(a) Fines are to be paid to the Department of Justice, who will make the fine available to the recipient of child support from the Obligor.

A02 submitted by Trevism

Replace: (2) The Obligor will be fined an addition £150 for every additional child support payment lapsed after the original six months

(a) Fines are to be paid to the Department of Justice

With: (2) The Obligor will be fined an equivalent sum of doubled owed alimony per child, for every lapsed child support payment during the original six months

(a) Fines are to be paid to the Department of Justice, who will make the fine available to the recipient of child support from the Obligor.

A03 submitted by Trevism

Remove Section III

Remember this bill is subject to our new trial system.

If this bill passes unamended, it will be passed into law.

If this bill passes with amendments, it will go to a Final Reading with those amendments added.

If the bill fails, it will ends it journey through the house, whether amendments pass or not.
