The People's Unity Party are disappointed at the collapse of the Northern Ireland Executive.
We believe the reasons cited by u/J_Ceasar of the Ulster Unionist Party show they lack the will to co-operate with other parties in Stormont.
The Assembly and the Executive are unique areas of politics. They require unprecedented cooperation from across all areas of politics, whether a party be nationalist, unionist or otherwise, socially liberal or socially conservative, socialist or capitalist, there must be cooperation to maintain peace in Ulster and uphold the Good Friday Agreement. The PUP wishes to extend that hand of cooperation to other parties. We are willing to be a new voice for socialism and unionism in Northern Ireland and across the United Kingdom.
We hope for a quick resolution and offer ourselves as a unionist voice in the Executive.
However, if a solution cannot be reached, we call on the powers that be to call an election to resolve the matter.
