Vote 1: Electoral Calculus

There were 13 votes in favor of the current electoral calculus and 21 in favor of the proposed calculus.

Therefore, the Highlands by-election will be decided using the new calculus which takes into account party activity.

Vote 2: FPTP or AV?

There were 15 votes for AV and 19 votes for FPTP.

Therefore, the Highlands by-election will be decided using FPTP.
