Repeal of Public Spaces Protection Orders Bill 2016
A bill to end the use of Public Space Protection Orders by local councils.
BE IT ENACTED by The Queen's most Excellent Majesty, by and with the advice and consent of the Commons in this present Parliament assembled, in accordance with the provisions of the Parliament Acts 1911 and 1949, and by the authority of the same, as follows:-
1: Repeal
a) Sections 59 to 75 of the Anti-social Behaviour, Crime and Policing Act 2014 is repealed. The relevant sections are detailed here: http://www.legislation.gov.uk/ukpga/2014/12/part/4/chapter/2?view=extent
2: Short Title, Commencement and Extent
The provisions of this bill will come into force one month after it is passed.
The bill extends to England and Wales.
This bill may be cited as the Repeal of PSPOs Act 2016
