Hey all! I am about to start my 2nd year MBA and I had some questions about career pivot. I've spent the past 6 years in hospitality and tourism in sales and management. Before that I worked for T. Rowe Price for 2 years. A lot of the positions I'm interested in seem to require a fair amount of experience in finance, strategy, M&A, etc. Most of my experience is in sales, marketing, and branding. I'm really interested in consulting, and have no difficulty understanding data analysis and finance (at least at the degree level, GPA is 3.5). Any suggestions for making a transition like this? Thanks!
