Me and my gf have been doing long distance for about 3 years, earlier this year we broke up but then we started going back to our old selves, talking and acting like a couple. Seeing each other when we could and would say things like ‘we are basically together’ etc.

We are from New Zealand and she has just gone to the US to work at a summer camp (Camp America) for 3 months. We are in a place where we both want to be with each other again and have talked about being together moving forward. I am worried as to what is going to happen over there. Whether summer camps are known for hookups etc. firstly I am looking for any kind of knowledge around the Camp America scene and whether it is a place where that sort of thing happens.

Any advice on how to navigate this? I feel as though I have gone through a breakup again due to not being able to talk. I am missing her like crazy and I’m scared she’ll find someone else over there.
