Flet Flower Cloak, Marksman for March Contest

Flet Flower Cloak is my attempt and making a Marksman who interacts with bush for this months contest. With a side goal of making a mobile Marksman who prefers hit and runs to prelonged fights. Currently checking the concept before adding in numbers.

I'm interested in any places where the kit description could be clearer or any questions people have.

Lore: The eccentric creature with this coat of leaves and bright smile is often seen wandering the wood come spring. He hunts but never takes his kills away from the forest, content to let the dead drop, rot and become overgrown, sometimes he’ll join the lamb and wolf though they have their disagreements. The people call him flower cloak when he’s bringing them the finest wines and fattening up their meat, but they look away when he feeds their fields red water.


Role Marksman, 500 attack range


Passive: Eternal Spring

When Flet enters a brush he gains a shield for (8 0.02% AD) percentage of his maximum health. This shield lasts until it’s broken, but there’s a 60s cooldown per brush and additional brushes top up the shield to its full value instead of stacking.

He also leaves behind a seed that turns into a sprout after 10s that last for 30s. Flet can then pick up the sprout and use it to activate the 2nd cast of one of his basic abilities. Flet can only hold one sprout at a time, but can pick up a new sprout as soon as he’s used one.


Q: Arrowhead Grass

40/50/60/70/80 mana

10/9/8/7/6s Cooldown

Flet fires a grass arrow in target direction dealing 1/1/1.2/1.3/1.4/1.5 AD physical damage and applying on hit effects to the first enemy hit. If this hits an enemy from behind 20/40/60/80/100% of its damage is converted into true damage.

For 3s Flet can spend a sprout to recast this ability, if the same target is hit twice the arrows will shatter dealing the damage (including the true damage portion) to enemies in a small area around the target.


W: Sylvan Gold

60 mana

12s Cooldown

Flet launches a sap blob into the air that lands after a brief delay at target location. The sap blob deals (40/60/80/100/120 0.25ap) magic damage and slows enemies hit by 20/30/40/50/60% for 2s.

If this hits multiple enemy champions or at least one enemy champion and one brush patch, Flet can spend a sprout to create sticky vines that prevent the affected targets from moving more than 300 units apart from each other for 2s.


E: Bacchanalia

100 mana

20/17/14/11/8s Cooldown

Flet releases a cloud of pheromones at his location that lasts for 3s, allies that attack while inside the cloud and allied projectiles that pass through the cloud deal (20/25/30/40/50 0.1ap) bonus magic damage. (Subsequent hits deal 50% damage).

(This damage is included in the shatter effect for Arrowhead Grass.)

If Flet or an enemy champion stay in the cloud for more than 2s they become enraged, forcing them to attack the nearest one of Flet’s enemies 1/1/2/2/3 times at max attack speed prioritising champions (ends after 1s if they have no target to attack). Enemies enraged this way also deal the bonus magic damage when attacking their allies.

Flet can spend a sprout to summon a tumbleweed that chases the target ally or enemy champion carrying the pheromone cloud with it for 3s.


R: The Greenways

100 mana

100/80/60s Cooldown

Passive: Reduce the time it takes seeds to sprout to 9/8/6s and cause enemies Flet gets takedowns on to drop seeds.

Active: Flet channels for up to 5s before leaping up to 2000/3000/4000, with maximum leap distance reached after 3s.

He’s untargetable while leaping and as he leaps a targeting reticule travels along his path.

He can use one of his basic abilities while in the air, hitting the targeting reticule below him with multiple grass arrows (shattering arrows can shatter other arrows) or an enlarged sap glob or pheromone cloud.

The leap channels twice as fast in brush and If Flet doesn’t use an ability while in the air his ult cooldown is reduced by 20s.


Appearance (Rough Sketch in the google doc)

The creature walks on his hindlegs with hooves and one of his clawed forearms, using its other arm and tail to handle a large wooden bow firing arrows tipped with leaf heads.
It has bright amber eyes and a main of indigo flower petals with one and a half antlers. It wears a cloak of leaves and flowers over its back.


P.S if anyone wants to help me by drawing a more detailed version of the sketch I'd really appericate it (colours are just ideas so feel free to change up details.)
