I posted this in the main swinger sub but I'd actually like some female only perspective as I'm a female who is running an event so I think what I 'care' about might not translate to men... TRUTH

Can you please help me and share what you care about, am I 'bitchy' or do you have the same issues with LS events? I'm curious to know if we're on the same page.

Over the years I've been to some awful events, poorly run, low quality, overpriced. There are certain things I expect when I attend any event (as I often go to conferences for my vanilla life) and it seems to me that lifestyle events are always just that little bit shit.

So here's my list, what are your must haves?

MUST

• Day time stuff; if you're going to have a pool party then get a decent DJ, lights, AV set up, games and ways for people to mingle
• Night time stuff; if you're going to have a theme then fucking decorate and arrange entertainment to that theme! Don't say it's galactic night and then have the same ballroom set up as the night before when it was school girls and kink night...
• Staff; pay your fucking staff to be competent, not just volunteers. Actual security companies, waitstaff , playroom attendees & entertainment
• Playroom; don't just throw beds on the ground, put some effort into the sensual aspect of it, design the playroom with as much thought as it deserves
• Mingle Events; create some mingle events, games hour to give people an opportunity to mingle rather than being left to their own devices

NICE

• Goodie bags; fill them with useful stuff not just brochures
• Food; consider having some good food and beverage options
