Lux/Leona bot lane terror

Anyone ever try this with a friend who's good with lux? My girl and I duo this all the time bot lane with wild success. Its so many stuns to deal with. The only downside to this is your team comp can become very ap heavy if your other teammates opt for ap champs. Thoughts?
