Hello all. I have a friend who lives in the uk, and recently had to move into a hostel for housing. In their tenancy agreement they have an agreement for allowing a pet, and their pet is a emotional support animal. Other tenants raised questions about the health of the animal, and a hour later the management of the unit told them that the animal had to leave in the next half hour. So, because they don’t have anywhere else to go, the Acquiesced to the request and are going through a severe depressive episode. I was wondering, because i live in Canada not uk, if someone with experience with uk law regarding this could direct me to sources of information to be quotable to help them? I don’t know if i can get much more info from them as they are very distraught at the moment.
Thanks for your time and consideration.
