Post Body

Joined a startup on June 3rd which had been in discussion for a few months. They were waiting for investor funding to come in, but decided to start the initial team in June, with the view funding would come in June / July.

I have an employment contract that states I will be aid on the final Friday of every month. 1 week later and none of the 6 people working have been paid.

Communication has been terrible from the CEO who we hardly see (apart from his Chief of Staff). It appears that the CEO has just not done the things he needs to do to pay us. I do have a tax slip for the month, but the money has not been sent. Next month it will be automated by a finance 3rd party.

What steps should I be taking now? Unclear how to respond and trying to be careful to not get emotional about the situation.
