My snap looks dented

Post Body
Hi! Iβm new to leather work and I tried making snaps. Every time I try to set one I have to hammer so hard that the snap top gets dented (itβs more noticeable in real life). I got the tools from a leather store and they said it would work for the snaps I got, so I think I might be doing something wrong. Any help?
