Warranty Claim Advice?

Hey all! There is a nice tea kettle on eBay that matches my set and is pretty cheap — the only issue is that it is kind of beaten up with chips and some rust. Is it worth buying and putting through the warranty claim? I wouldn’t have a receipt or anything, but is it a big deal? Any thoughts?
