Benefits of taking Federal Jurisdiction

I’m trying to decide whether to take a federal jurisdiction class my 3L fall semester. It’s apparently one the toughest classes at school, but one of my friends said that it’s pretty useful and/or looks good if you want to clerk for a judge.
