We all know Kled has been in a rough spot ever since they changed how his HP works, which made the tank build inferior to traditional bruiser items. For those of you that don't know, basically, in patch 11.24 they made Skaarl's HP count as base HP, where as previously, it was counted as bonus HP. This change basically made the tank build completely useless, considering that many of those items scales based on bonus HP.
That build allowed Kled to, not only deal good damage, but also to be more or less guaranteed to remount in a fight. Sunfire also made Kled scale a lot better, compared to Goredrinker.
Kled is meant to be an engager/flanker who can just go in and wreak havoc on the enemy with the help of his teammates. Now, in the current meta, he is pretty damn squishy. A mere shadow of what he used to be in that regard. Sure, he deals more damage, but that is considering he is actually on top of the enemy and manages to remount, and that's not easy to do, especially not in the late game, because he scales horribly compared to a lot of meta champions.
Now, on top of all this, in patch 12.3 they changed a lot of bruiser items, generelly making them have more damage and less health, and they also completely reworked Sterak's Gage. So what's the result? You deal way more damage, but as I mentioned previously, it doesn't matter much if you just get one shot in team fights. Sterak's is in an abysmal state at the moment because now the shield is entirely based on bonus HP, which you get way less of after the change on the rest of the bruiser items.
The solution?
Revert the changes made to his HP. With this change, Kled would scale better into the late game, and be the frontliner he is meant to be. Either Riot does this or they should give him some sort of adjustment which allows him to scale better, either in stats or maybe a change in his kit.
What do you guys think?
