Post Body
Has anyone else experienced this? I joined this subreddit because I got a job as a server in a local Cafe. It was an open kitchen and we did have food responsibilities as servers. I absolutely loved this job. We got shit canned, with no notice, because the owner, who was never involved in anything decided to sell the place to a last minute buyer with straight cash. Then told us to apply for unemployment and thats it. 0 notice. 0 compensation. Is this normal and/or legal?
