Feeling broken and hopeless. Urologist just parroted what every other doctor has said about my 4mm stone that has apparently, been there since July, not September. Been puking from the pain and don’t know where to turn.

I feel so low. I saw my urologist and she didn’t know why I even was seeing her since she “doesn’t do kidney stones.” Well, the front desk booked me with you when I said I was having a kidney stone issue so…?

She was rude throughout the entire appointment. She just kept referencing “the literature on kidney stones” and saying the ER doctors were right while I’m sitting there trying not to cry.

She suggested I was having referred back pain and I’m like… ??? Back pain has never caused me to vomit. Or radiated to my groin. Even so, what if it is back pain, my back pain doctor hasn’t been adequately treating my pain either so what am I to do about it??!
