Question! Important!
Post Body

Hey all. I was wondering, as this hasn't happened to me ever before.. Is it normal to have quite a lot of blood on tissue when you wipe if you have kidney stones? Or is that a bad sign? I'm likely going to the hospital Monday to try get a ct scan cos the pain is bad, but not as bad as it was at the start a month ago.

So yeah. Any advice?

Background: 6th time in 2 years having stones, first time with this much blood. I'm on the implant and don't get periods and even if I did, this feels different (and it would not be my time of the month anyway, I still track it cause I often spot during shark week, sorry if tmi). I'm very overweight but am working on my diet and working out more (which is likely the cause of the stones! Though we don't know for sure yet as none have been able to be tested). I'm 23 and my first experience with kidney stones was at 21. I'm female.

I also know for fact I've not passed the stones yet as I was told by a doctor to pee through a strainer, which I've been doing (yeah even at work.. Goodbye dignity). The main pain is in my lower back, more towards the left at the moment though it seems to change every now and then, and hasn't moved down to my bladder/crotch yet. So yeah. Hope that's enough info. I can't miss anymore work for this which is why I'm going to the hospital Monday instead of tomorrow, Sunday. I've just got a warning from work for sickness so yeah. Sorry ths is long.
