First off, yeah Ive got some old switches, I know.
I have a Juniper EX4550 switch that I'm swapping some links over to, I have some Extreme switches, a Cisco ME 4924, a bunch of Netonix and UBNT switches and they all work fine.
Except the Cisco ME 3400 switches. I get a link up, but no traffic will pass through the trunk.
Heres a sample of the config:
EX4550:
ge-0/0/19 {
description KCC-Roscommon;
ether-options {
link-mode automatic;
}
unit 0 {
family ethernet-switching {
port-mode trunk;
vlan {
members [ 14 200 303 1212-1250 1333 2000 3521 ];
}
}
}
}
ME 3400:
interface GigabitEthernet0/1
switchport trunk allowed vlan 14,200,303,1212-1250,1333,3521
switchport mode trunk
media-type sfp
I have a laptop plugged into port 2 of the ME switch. Its an access port with vlan 1333.
If I create an access port on the Juniper, I pull an IP and pass traffic,
On the Cisco I get nothing.
I have this ME switch set up locally right now so I can view the console. But the 2 out in the wild wont pass traffic..
Im also going to be replacing them with Juniper switches soon, but Id like to get this up if I can..
Any suggestions?
