Post Body

I found out today I am getting laid off next month as part of restructuring thing the company that owns my station (Sinclair) is doing. It’s mostly affecting my station and another in the same state. As I understand it my station is taking over the broadcasting for the other. We were told a lot of them were getting laid off and some of us. I didn’t think much of it at the moment. Shortly after, I was called back and told the news about me. I had decided a while ago I was leaving news when my contract expired in June, but now my plans are being accelerated. So my question is, how should I write my resume to best reflect the job I’m wanting to go into? Public relations or something similar. I was a producer.
