I’ve been having this issue for a while. I started replacing my door ajar sensors on my 99Cherokee, I did the driver and passenger side sensors, and it seemed to work.

About an hour after I installed the sensors, and reinstalled the internal bulbs, I noticed they were back on again. I pulled the bulbs again, so the battery doesn’t die on me, and am looking for suggestions.

After installing the sensors I did try all the doors, including the rear hatch, and they all seemed to work (lights on while open, off while closed).

Help, please.
