Today, I will be sharing on my most memorable family event. Japan is famous for its scenic beauty, food and even its washroom! There are numerous amount of tourist sites in Japan, for example I visited a palace called the Himeji palace located in Himeji as its name suggests. My parents took many pictures as we climbed the treacherous amount of staircases. When we reached the top, we saw the spectacular sight of Kobe so we thought it was all pretty worth it. Hence, we took many photos from the top of the palace before descending down. When we finally got out of the palace, we happened to glance upon an ice cream store. So, my father bought a soft ice cream for me. It was so delicious, much better than the ones I have tasted in Singapore.
Secondly, the food in Japan is amazing. Personally, I prefer the food in Osaka and Kyoto. It is rich with Japanese culture for example the dishes in a set is arranged in a particular order which I believe it is part of their culture. There are also a variety of Japanese dishes to choose ranging from cold food, sushi to noodle such as ramen and soba. Of all the food I tasted in Japan, what I remembered the most deeply was their ramen. Even their egg and the grade of their soup is different from what I have tasted from Singapore. I still can remember vividly that I ate some of my parents’ dishes by mistake. It was very embarrassing when they looked at me while I ate some of their food. After that, we had a good laugh and I had lots of fun back then.
Thirdly, the washroom in Japan especially their toilet bowl is extremely high-tech. Toilets in Japan are generally more elaborate than toilets in other developed nations. It includes many advanced features rarely seen in outside of Asia. For example, there are features such as seat warming and deodorization. The heated seat can be adjusted from 30 °C to 40 °C and there is an automatic lid equipped with a proximity sensor, which opens and closes based on the location of the user. Some can even play music to relax the user’s sphincter which controls the passage of solids and liquids. Another feature is the soft close, it slows the toilet lid down while closing so that the lid does not slam onto the seat. Recently, researchers have added medical sensors into these toilets, which can measure the blood sugar based on the urine and also measure the pulse, blood pressure and the body fat content of the user which is not available in other countries yet. The most memorable part of the trip is actually the washroom in Japan because my family ate so much until all of us had to go to the toilet after we ate too much food.
In conclusion, Japan is a great place to visit if you are either a scenic beauty lover, food lover or a toilet lover! If you ever visit Japan, you must definitely try their toilet as you will get a totally different experience compared to your own country as well as their food ranging from sushi to ramen. So, if you visit Japan with your family, you will definitely get a memorable experience, just like me! So, what are you waiting for?
