I think itâs a stretch to imply thatâs what âCan you afford either?â meant, but nice attempt at recovering. It might be surprising for you to learn some people could afford both, have a preference for one, and actually buy neither because they donât care that much about cars.
So unfortunate that people with money so infrequently have an ounce of class about it.
I would argue there are few more superficial things in this world than asking someone their financial position. But hey, you own some expensive cars so you get to tell people why their subjective opinion is wrong.
Aside from that you seem completely uneducated about the history of the makes youâre drooling over. Jaguar gained a terrible reputation during the Ford days and Alfa, which has never been big ANYWHERE, wasnât even imported to the US for a number of years.

And your point is? VW DID see a negative impact from the diesel incident. Iâm not seeing how this is in any way related to anything else youâve said.
