Jesus Christ this is uncomfortable. I've been on Menopur and Follistim since Monday. Was hoping to do my ovulation trigger shot today but nope, Drs say tomorrow. I feel like a balloon that's been stuck on the end of a garden hose.

I am so glad I took medical leave for this. I've been getting headaches daily and it's getting uncomfortable to move around a lot. Egg retrieval should be Sunday- doing a fresh transfer. No preimplantation genetic testing bc insurance doesn't cover it. Hopefully if we make it to the transfer stage we'll know if this round worked by the middle of March.

Any advice to throw my way? So glad I found this community!

EDIT: thank you all so much! This is really helpful info and I'm glad to hear this is normal. My Drs office takes a rather assembly line approach to treating patients so there's not a lot of time or opportunity to ask questions. I went back again for bloodwork and an ultrasound today and most likely will trigger today once the bloodwork comes back. Retrieval is probably happening tomorrow. Eek! 😬
