Does anyone feel that INTPs (or anyone who subscribes to one of the other personality types) use the their personality type as a enabler/excuse for how they act? i.e. "I am an INTP so "x" behaviour is okay"
Post Body

After I first took the test I found it comforting because it helped to explain a lot of the "weirder" habits and behaviours that I have. However, after seeing many of the posts in this subreddit, I wonder if quite a lot of us use the moniker as an excuse and enabler for our personal shortcomings. I am not suggesting any sort of general morality here or that this is wrong because obviously if you are interested in the personality types you are trying to understand yourself a little better. I am just interested to see if anyone else has come to similar conclusion.
