I listened to Asiya Miart’s tips and got an overall score of 8.5
Post Body

Just wanted to share that Asiya Miart/Fastrack IELTS in Youtube is really the best tutor. Asiya’s channel was recommended by a friend who also used her materials for IELTS. She got an overall score of 7.5. I earned the following scores: reading (9), listening (9), speaking (8.5), writing (7)

I watched most of Asiya’s videos especially the ones about speaking and writing and it helped me get an idea on how to answer during these tests (vocabs is key!). The techniques she shared for the reading and listening exam helped me get an overview of the kind of questions I should expect and the best way to answer them correctly and efficiently. (I finished the 40 reading questions in 30 mins and used the rest of my time to review my answers).

IELTS is unpredictable. I really had a hard time practicing my writing. No matter what question I tried answering, I really had a mental block. I even had a mental block during the actual exam and ended up writing a really bad Task 1 essay. Eventually, I gave up practicing my writing skills and just remembered to have an intro/overview, body, and conclusion (Task 2). For the speaking part of the test, it’s the mooooost unpredictable. The questions are very basic but are more personal than job interview questions. I personally think what’s important is for you to be conversational and natural. You shouldn’t sound like you rehearsed all your answers.

It was truly an experience. I guess it’ll be different for each of us but I really recommend you guys try to watch Asiya. Her tips are the best!
