HyperX Cloud II Wireless Problems

Post Body

I started using the HyperX Cloud II Wireless headset 4 days ago and since day 1 I've been noticing numerous issues, looking on this subreddit there are a few people who have experienced these already, I'm wondering whether anyone was able to find a fix/whether HyperX can comment on it?

A few times a day I start to get this static/fuzzy noise for about 30-60 seconds, before suddenly going away. The static noise is synchronised with whatever sound I have been listening to at the time - it's not random. It's as though there is a wireless connection issue, but I have nothing around me that could cause a connection issue, and I am next to the dongle.

The second issue is that the headset mutes itself completely. I can't hear any audio coming into my headset. But the microphone works; if I'm on a call with friends, they can still hear me.
Turning the headset on and off does not fix this; the only thing that seems to fix it is plugging the wireless dongle out and in.

The final issue is that sometimes when I unplug/plug in the wireless dongle, I get a BSOD.
I've followed some steps that I found in another thread to try and fix this, which is to uninstall the HID-Compliant Headset in device manager.
I haven't gotten a BSOD since doing this just yesterday, but the other two issues still remain.

I am very close to returning this headset which is a shame because it's quite comfortable & sounds great for the price.

Has anyone had these issues and been able to fix them?
