Hey Homies!
I was looking at filters for taste only - not worried about SPM. Living in Seattle we have wonderful tasting water but the issue ive seen is - I still get that "just came out of a hose taste" which while nostalgic of hot summer days on the east coast drinkong out of the spiget during super soaker and water ballon fights- is not what I'm after on the daily. Any ways, growing up in Maryland we had PUR and or Brita filters on the faucet and in a pitcher. Maryland (Montgomery County) water while clean tatses kinda crap and flat.
Issues with on-faucet option: leaks, poor filter life, expensive replacement
Issues with pitcher filter: gotta fill up pitcher, poor filter life.
So i went in search of another option ive seen at work and more commercial settings - under sink filtration
Pros: 2 year/ super duper amount of gallons/liters filter life, feel like a pro after you install it (moderate key vibes of accomplishment on every fillup)
Potential Cons: one I got it like 70 bucks, so high upfront cost, but one im willing to deal with as its way cheaper in the long run. For some, installing under sink is not ideal - but I promise it takes less than 10 minutes!
Anyways hope this is helpful!
Keep on hydrating!! :)
