Hello! I’m visiting for a month and I’m interested in hunting small animals like squirrels/rabbits. I searched a bit online and found out I can buy a non-resident license. But I have a couple more questions and would appreciate your help. First can I hunt with an air rifle or pistol? Since I’m not interested in buying a real firearm, and that’s why I’ll just be hunting small game. If yes then does a small caliber like .177 work or does it have to be a bigger one? Secondly is the hunting license enough or do I need to get additional stuff? And lastly the public places where I can hunt… can I go to any state park/national park and hunt there (for example shenandoah park/wolf trap park) and is there a website that lists places open to hunting? I know I might be asking for too much help but any help/advice is appreciated. Thank you all
