For us it started when I found out my girlfriend was cheating in college with a guy she meet online. Honestly I didn’t want to lose her so I didn’t say anything until she figured out that I knew. It ended with her getting mad (she was embarrassed) and lots of tears of regret from both of us.

We had a lot of talks but our sexual relationship never really took a hit at all and I found that I didn’t want her to stop seeing other guys. I know for most this would be a massive deal breaker and I don’t blame you, but I also think that infidelity is not always a deal breaker and don’t think people should judge relationships that survive it or pity people who stay with a loved one that makes a mistake.
