Did you ever see May? That’s one of my favorite movies that I’ve been shoving down people’s throats for basically my entire life, and Stopmotion was more like that than just a horror movie to me, which is exactly what I was expecting and hoping for. It was just perfectly geared towards my weird-ass taste so everything landed for me.
Not to mention I’m kind of obsessed with the lead actress (not even going to try and spell her name from memory) since I saw her in The Nightingale. She’s amazing in everything that she’s in.
If it wasn’t Stopmotion, it would have easily been Doctor Sleep.
