Pet Semetary: Blood Lines

I watched this film last Friday and wanted to wait to post anything about it. I was excited for this film and really liked the cast. I was disappointed on the story and most of the characters. I think this film would have been better if it wasn't related to the stories by Stephen king. Lastly I think it would have been better as a miniseries.
Would love to know other's thoughts about this.
