Im getting ready to harvest some dregs from some sours I have been collecting for the past few months, 5-6 bottles. Just a quick question...
I plan on making a starter, probably 1L. Should I put an airlock on this? I have seen a couple mixed reviews on whether or not to use one.
I made a slow orbital shaker plate to help keep the yeast/microbes in suspension.
I plan on growing it for about a month, stepping up to 2L and then 4L, and finally pitching into a 5 gallon batch.
Does all this make sense? airlock or no?
