Moca Access Point
Post Body

Hello HomeNetworking,

I found a coax upstairs that has access to my gigabit plan, with a coax downstairs also having gigabit connected to my modem/router. Would I be able to just put a moca on the upstairs coax and connect it to an AP and then everything good?

I don’t have a good grip on how all this works but since my upstairs has access to my plan everything is good? Or it doesn’t matter if my coax upstairs has my plan it needs to be converted to WiFi?
