shaping corian shower step to get proper incline so water runs into shower
Post Body

I have a corian step going into my shower with a frameless shower door. I think since we installed, the house has settled a bit the horizontal surface of the step is now slightly inclined facing out of the shower and causing leakage out to the bathroom floor.

I have a bottom shower seal with an angled strip and that helps a bit, but the only real solution seems to be to get the step inclined so the water runs back into the shower.

I could hire someone to reinstall the whole thing, but that seems like an enormous job.

Is it absurd to think that with an orbital sander and the right set of discs I could take 1-2mm off the back half and get the water flowing the right direction?
