A month ago I received an Omen 15 from the HP store and unfortunately I'm two days out of the 30-day return window. The laptop runs fine for the most part but it has a several defects that I've noticed, such as a dent on the keyboard deck/twisted hinge and speakers that buzz. I contacted HP support in an effort to determine how to resolve the problem with the speakers. Support remoted into my PC and installed drivers, a Windows update and a BIOS update, which did not resolve the problem and now my laptop runs ~10 degrees hotter on idle. Has anyone been able to swap out a new laptop for another one after the return period has ended? Or is warranty repair the only option now?
