Would do YOU think happened with scissors in his past?

Ever since I first watched this episode I was so sad and curious to know what his trauma with scissors is. I personally think scissors were somehow used after his accident, maybe to cut his melted clothes off his body or maybe even something worse like to cut off his fried limbs. Idk, what do y’all think?
Either way his reaction to seeing this scissors and immediately assuming something is going to hurt makes me so sad.
