I remember reading a book years ago : "Lexapros and Cons" by Aaron Karo. A story about a 17yo boy named Charlie with OCD who collects All Stars shoes, deciding which pair to wear according to his mood. This scene of Hearstopper series made me think the reference could be not-so-involuntary.
