My CHRONIC yeast treatment plan
Hear ye, hear ye: My new plan for CHRONIC yeast
Hi friends. Today I am itchy again. I’ve been fighting this battle for two years. I’ve done the boric acid. I’ve done the diflucan. I’ve done the baths. I’ve tried IT ALL.
On Saturday I will receive a package of 100% natural Melaleuca alternifolia otherwise known as tea tree oil. I read a study today (in the link under the article called Women’s Health Jane Buckle PhD, RN, in Clinical Aromatherapy (Third Edition), 2015) which I will place below, that pretty much stated to dilute a tampon in 2-3 drops of the oil and another cold pressed vegetable oil (vag safe ex: almond oil//measurements in screenshot) and pop that sucker in 3 times a day for 3 days. The study goes on to say that there’s been great results with this against the toughest yeasty strains like c.glabrata.
I am ready bc I’m F*CKING over this. I miss sex w my partner and I miss not having a constant itchy tingle in my vagina.
I have a doctors appt tomorrow with my original obgyn who has been with me through all of this yet she doesn’t really offer solutions other than over medicating me which has me worried about CV…. anyways. I’m gonna chat with her tell her I want a PCR test for EVERYTHING, a blood test to test my estrogen levels, and a thorough exam.
April 17th I have an appointment with a new OBGYN who I have read good things about.
I’m gonna figure this out.
UPDATE: I went to my obgyn and she said that she saw minimal to no yeast but told me that I have a dry patchy area of skin on my inner labia and described it as lichen simplex.
I am distraught. I canceled work the rest of the day and I’m literally gonna go home and go to bed. Lichen is chronic and it’s from chronic yeast even after the infection has subsided. I am depressed and haven’t had sex with my partner in weeks. I don’t know what to do. Any advice??
