Ok so, not sure if anyone else has noticed this BUT... seems kind of funny that, despite how well James Jude Courtney actually does the role of masked maniac Michael, his innate (or at least current, his age?) appearance makes him look a lot more like... a Dr Loomis candidate: at least if you compared with the 2008 Rob Zombie remake and it's sequel H2.
The short (head/scalp hair), the white hair, beard and moustache and the pale-skin-gone-pink-in-old-age.
Again, doesn't really matter that much, at least it sure isn't a problem given how well Courtney pulls off the character which I personally believe couldn't be DONE any better by any other actor (except maybe the terrifying Tyler Mane in that role from Zombie's version, with his ballistic/white-rage grunting and semi-yelling whilst stabbing victims...).
Just seems funny how they've so dramatically and fundamentally altered, even reinvented virtually, Michael's (unmasked?) physical appearance. And yeah, I can anticipate a few people saying back to me "well, yeah if he's masked MOST of the time, then... why does it really matter what his unmasked appearance really is?" and I get that but at the same time... you gotta admit, a huge part of the appeal of shows like Halloween or The Collector/The Collection is that the primary villain IS masked throughout so much duration of the story that it starts to really become a massive imagination tease each time someone has a crack at his mask like when Laurie starts pulling it off as a distraction. You immediately start wondering "wow I wonder what his (PROBABLY creepy AF) face actually looks like... guess we're about to SEE finally...".
