I have/had dark brown hair. We wanted to change it up cuz why not. We went to Sally's to get dye. (Only place we know to get dye) spoke with a lady there that recommended stuff to us as it's our first time for trying this. Like ever. I wanted to go like a grayish color. She gave us ion bright white creme lightener. To be used with 30vol developer. And ion violet grey semi permanent color to be used with 20vol developer. Went home did what she said. It didn't work. I DO NOT want to be blonde. So we went to a different Sally's and found out you do not use developer with semi permanent. I got a permanent color when we went. Titanium gray. Mixed it up with the 20vol developer. Put it in. After 10 minutes. It starts turning a pink tint.? So I wait it out the 40 minutes. Rise it out. And now it's blonde with a little pinkish color in it. What they hell are we doing wrong!? I just want to try and grayish hair color. Am I crazy? Or. Should I just go with a red or something? Any tips or recommendations? I'm going crazy here.
